Peppermint or spicebush tea

Queasy, gassy, or a tension head. Mint from the bucket, or spicebush twigs from the hollow.

15 minutes · 1 mug

  1. Mint: 1 Tbsp fresh or 1 tsp dry, just-off-boil, covered 10 minutes.
  2. Spicebush: a handful of snapped twigs in a small pot, simmer 15 minutes. Leaf is a lighter 10-minute steep.
  3. Sip warm. A cloth wrung in the leftover mint tea on the forehead for a tight head.
Dose
1–3 cups a day.
Store
Dry mint in jars. Twigs can be cut as you go.
