Pure white amanita. Cup at the base, ring on the stem. Liver-killing. Looks like a button mushroom if you are careless.

All-white gilled mushroom. A skirt-like ring on the stem and a sack-like cup (volva) at the base — dig it up to see it. White spore print. Gills free of the stem.

Any suspected amanita bite of a meal: ER now, not later. Bring the mushroom.
