Remedy

Stings, bites, poison ivy

Plantain on a bee or nettle. Jewelweed on ivy, as soon as you can. Wash first.

  1. Bee: scrape the stinger, don’t pinch. Plantain chew. Watch their breath.
  2. Ivy: soap and water, then jewelweed juice, then do not scratch a highway across the rest of you.
  3. Tick: tweezers at the skin, straight out. The herb after that is watching for fever a month.

Trouble breathing, swelling tongue, collapse: epinephrine if they have it. Not plantain. See First ten minutes.
